The Daiwa 500 Seat Box features a fully interchangeable stack system with easy click layers, each featuring a ridge/recess compression seal.
This means that you can customize the box to suit your needs and easily switch out layers as necessary. Plus, the compression seal ensures that your gear stays securely in place during transport and dry during rainy days.
Retractable Footplate
The Daiwa 500 Box seat features an integrated retractable footplate which is perfect for those tight pegs such as canals, or if you just don't fancy using it for the day.
Telescopic Legs with Locking Handwheels
The seat box features 36mm telescopic legs which can be adjusted to your preferred height and secured with 180 degrees rotating locking handwheels. This feature ensures that the seat box remains stable, even on uneven ground.
How durable is the Daiwa 500 Seat Box?
The Daiwa 500 Seat Box is built to last, with an aluminium and steel construction that can handle almost any situation. The base has rubber mud feet making it durable on any surface, and can handle uneven pegs with ease.
Mud feet at small plastic / metal / Rubber discs usually round or octagonal in shape that make contact with the ground. Their increased surface area ensure that the legs of the seat box will not sink into the mud, hence the name "mud feet".
How's the storage on the Daiwa 500?
In addition to the main compartment, the Daiwa 500 Seat Box comes equipped with a 20mm shallow winder tray (perforated), two side drawers that can hold dividers or other items like baiting tools, spare line, or elastics, and more.
There's also a fixed 20mm shallow unit and a lift-out stack system supplied with two 20mm shallow winder trays.

To make transportation easier, the Daiwa 500 Seat Box comes with a shoulder strap, however I would have preferred a lot more padding - especially when lugging around heaver equipment.
