Absolutely Stunning Fishing Seat box from Preston Innovations. The new 2022/2023 Absolute fishing seat box is one stylish beast!
I knew it wouldn't be long before we started to see some wild curvaceous fishing seat boxes hitting the market, and after seeing the latest offering from Preston Innovations, I was left needing a corned beef key to wind my tongue back into my mouth after my eyes feasted on the Absolute Station.
The incredibly stylish "Absolute Station" from Preston Innovations had my attention like a 35lb carp being pulled in by a first time fisherman (we've all been there). The black and grey aluminium frame with the noticeable "X" design beneath the drawers screams at my wallet to "buy it now".
Complete with black footrest, the 6 individual telescopic legs on the Absolute Station can be set easily adjusted using the removable rubber coated ergonomically designed screw caps ensuring you're battle station remains level; even on the most difficult of fishing pegs.
Material / Build Quality
The Preston Innovations Absolute fishing box is manufactured from 'lightweight' aluminium including the use of hydroforming. For those who didn't google "Hydroforming" the simple short definition from 'Science Direct' (source):
Hydroforming is a metal forming technology based on the application of pressurized liquid media to generate defined workpiece shapes from tubular materials or sheet metals.
This basically means that Preston Innovations has been able to produce an absolutely stunning sleek, sturdy, lightweight, voluptuous seat box which your partner may catch you sneaking a look at out of the corner of your eye during a walk round the lake.
The cushioned seat is the perfect parking place for your backside with a lift up lid revealing a 26mm tray for quick access to hooks / weights / rigs.
Special Features
The Absolute Station is compatible with "Mag Lok" attachments, so if you're upgrading from a previous model your existing trays and accessories will attach with no problems whatsoever, especially useful for different fishing setup scenarios such as wading etc.
If you're anything like me, my fishing gear is always an absolute mess after a full 8 hours at the bank, so having the ability to remove units from the hydroformed aluminium frame for easier management and in my case 'cleaning'.
This also gives the excited angler the opportunity to bring trays into the kitchen to fully prepare your terminal tackle without the need to bring the entire seat box inside (let's be honest, a box this nice - it should take pride of place in your home).
It's also worth noting that you can re-attach units in any order you feel fits your fishing style / requirements.

Colour Options
The Absolute station base is available in both Graphite and White - personally I much prefer the White colour as it really contrasts with the dark graphite colour of the rest of the seat box.
